This is a flash storyboard about an astronaut on vacation.

Since I've had a hard time getting back to this I thought I would post the thumbnails of the remainder of the Storyboard. There is probably a lot that needs to be explained since the thumbnails can be kind of vague on their own. The gist of it is that the astronaut decides to go ahead and spend his vacation on the planetoid. But he has unknowingly landed his tacky RV on an aliens' front door.

Eventually I'll get a better explanation written out. (I'd rather spend the time working on the actual storyboard though.)

This set picks up from where the Flash animatic leaves off where the Astronaut picks himself up and dusts himself off.

Here he goes to scratch his head and forgetting that he is wearing a helmet, scratches the glass instead. He then goes to examine a rock and compares it with the postcard. On a side note, chances are this set will probably be omitted from production. It seems unnecessary and would probably be redundant in the final version. I think it would be better to just have him try to scratch his head, shrug his shoulders and move on to the next set.

The camera focuses on a spot on the ground where a metallic rod in stuck into the ground. The Astronaut then takes a oddly shaped instrument and unfolds it into a chair and pushes a button to open a beach umbrella. (I've changed some of the panels around). He then takes a canister and hooks it up to a port on his suit that extends a "straw" so he can drink. He turns on a radio, picks up and book and starts to read while obnoxiously slurping his soda.

This is where the resident Alien comes in. The landing pad of the Module has blocked the Aliens doorway so a creepy hand starts to feel around the doorway trying to get it open enough that he can get out.

Angry at the situation, the Alien starts to march towards the oblivious Astronaut. Then, having finished his drink, the astronaut casually throws the empty metallic container over his shoulder and beans the Alien. He stumbles back and once he recovers packs up the container and throws it at the Astronaut's head...

The Astronaut, however reaches down to get another snack and avoids getting hit by the container at the last second. Sensing that something has narrowly avoided hitting him, the Astronaut looks around. He looks over his shoulder and sees the alien rushing towards him. He lands on the astronauts back knocking over the chair and they land on the ground. The Astronaut stands up with the Alien clinging, lizard like, on his helmet.

The Astronaut pulls the Alien off of his helmet and drops him to the ground. He pulls out a camera, casually takes a picture and throws a couple of dollars to the Alien. Having dismissed the Alien, he goes back to his chair and book. The Alien, meanwhile, attempts to push the Module's landing pad off his entrance.

The Alien walks off screen and returns with a large rock and starts to hit the Module pad. This gets the Astronauts attention and he turns to watch. The Alien raises the rock again and hits the pad. Unfortunately the Module pad is made of stronger stuff and the rock crumbles apart.

Frustrated, the Alien stomps around and kicks at the pieces. One rock fragment flies towards the Astronaut, who pushes a button to engage a force field to deflect the piece. The rock bounces off the force field and flies towards a box on the outside of the Module, damaging it. The scene pauses for a second on the Module itself. Suddenly a buzzer sounds and the Geodesic Dome on the top of the Module opens to jettison all the Astronauts belongings into space. FOOSH!

The Astronaut decides that he's had enough and slamming his book down, walks towards the Alien.

A chase ensues with them both increasing speed. The scene focuses on the Module with the characters running past, more frequently and faster each time. The camera changes to a view point far enough away to show the whole Planetoid rotating beneath them.

The Alien comes to a sudden halt and "stops the planet" from seemingly rotating. (In order for this to work visually the camera will have to be fixed on the Alien with the planet spinning beneath him.) The planet stopping is similar to a treadmill stopping and the Astronaut trips forward, flying into space.

The Alien uses the umbrella as a lever to lift the Module off his front door and with the help of low gravity, it too fly's into space. The Astronaut shakes his fist at the Alien who snaps his fingers in a similar manner as the Astronaut. (or maybe he should take a picture?) And goes back inside his home.

The Astronaut, with his stuff floating in space tries to "swim" back to the Module when a passing satellite crashes into him. The credits would be postcards with scenes and production images of the short.
